Postural Advice Exercises
This series of exercises is designed for those that spend some significant periods of time in sustained sitting postures. Modern working environments now predominantly consist for a lot of people to sit in front of computers in the same position for several hours at a time for several days at a time.
Generally moving regularly throughout the day is going to help offset some of the issues. I believe that soft tissue adapts to joint position i.e. sitting. These exercises can be performed in a few minutes and can be done at the end of the day to help reverse the key areas of issue.
In general terms this can be positively affected by doing 5 key stretches and activation type exercises focusing on hips and glutes, thoracic spine, neck and shoulders. These are focused on working on the opposite of the sitting position.
