Here are a selection of questions and their answers that we are frequently asked.

Is a bike fit suitable for me?

Yes. Everyone can benefit from a bike fit. The most common reasons are to – increase comfort, increase speed/power output, increase efficiency, decrease fatigue, injury prevention and resolution. Usually we would suggest if you a clipping into your pedals is a good level to start at and a fit is appropriate, whether that is riding a comfortable commute and some recreational miles at a weekend or trying to ride a PB in your local TT, or national/international event and triathlons.

I've previously been fitted by you guys, can you help me select a good fitting bike?

Yes. Providing you are buying the same type of bike feel free to email us and we can compare your fit data and bike geometry to a new bike you are considering

Do you assess cleat position as part of a bike fit?

Yes getting the cleat set up to allow the foot/pedal interface to be correct is an essential part of bike fitting.

What type of bikes do you work with?

We work with all types – Road, MTB, TT/Tri, Track, Commuting.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes. We offer some club discounts. Feel free to ask us when making the booking.

How long does a fit last?

A standard bike fit can take up to 2.5 hours, if you are adding an additional bike allow a further hour. Advanced bike fits can take up to 3 hours. 

Do you have a changing area?

Yes we have a separate room where you can change.

What if we don't have the right equipment to finish my fit?

We stock basics in terms of saddles and stems of various lengths. Sometimes we may not having exactly what we need. If this occurs you are welcome to return to finish off the fit at a later date once the equipment has been purchased. Occasionally a small fee will be applied depending on the circumstances.

What if I don't currently own a bike?

We have a Retül Muve fit bike so can use this to achieve your optimal position and recommend a new bike that will suit you.

What if I need to cancel/change my appointment?

If you cancel or postpone an appointment with 24hours prior notice then there is no charge.

How do I make payment?

We accept most credit and debit cards and cash payments

What should I bring?

Bring your bike/s if you are having a bike fit for existing bike/s, your cycling shoes and tight fitting cycling (or triathlon) clothing. The clothing needs to be tight as some of the markers we use to record the position data are attached to the clothing and it is important they follow your body movement accurately.
